Description :	Lead a team of highly talented engineers working in the area of L2/L3 protocol stack development for Ethernet switches and routers. Will be responsible for engineering execution of the programs by working with internal teams such as marketing, QA, program management etc. Expected to drive SW engineering practices and also to build and sustain strong technical skills in the team. Will be also responsible for the performance, productivity, morale and motivation of the team.
Job Requirements :	Min. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engg. with 10-15 years of industry experience (with atleast 3-5 years in people management) with expertise in following areas: 1. Strong Domain knowledge in L2/L3 protocols. Proven track record of successful execution of projects in this area 2. Good understanding of Ethernet Switching/Routing market segments 3. Good knowledge of product life cycle; should have led the programs through the entire life cycle 4. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with global teams 5. Strong project management skills 6. Strong SW engineering fundamentals, good knowledge of processes and tools 7. Knowledge of SEI CMM practices, desirable 8. Excellent people management skills especially in managing high potential employees
